November 26, 1997 Michael Dicks, et.al. With our litigation against Wilma Pacific now essentially concluded, I'd like to extend my thanks on behalf of the Camelot Homeowners Association to you and your firm for all of your hard work in driving it to a very successful conclusion. Christopher Coglianese and Jeff Miller deserve much of the thanks for their diligent pursuit of this case and their professional handling of the many issues that arose during the process. I enjoyed working with each of you as I think you clearly had the Association's best interests at heart. When the association first considered filing a latent defect lawsuit against the builder, the legal opinion provided by at least one other firm was that we had no case and should not pursue it. The fact that you were willing to take on such a difficult case, on contingency, and negotiate such a large settlement in the face of several impediments is a testament to your abilities at Grady &Dicks. The Association is nearing completion of the reconstruction process, the majority which could not have been possible without the resources afforded by the settlement you were able to obtain for us. The complex is on it's way to a full recovery and the homeowners are very grateful! Once, again thank you for everything. Sincerely, |
